ALL OF POLAND READS TO KIDS
"All of Poland reads to kids" is a national campaign initiated in 2001 whose aim is to promote reading. There are various ways to get involved in it. Students of Gimnazjum nr 14 join this campaign annually. Our tradition is going to a local kindergarten and a primary school. Our students read stories to children, organize quizzes and everyone enjoys this time.
The organizers of the campaign promote it in the following words: ‘We all want our children to grow up to be wise, good and happy people. There is a way to achieve this – let’s read aloud to our children”. Whan it was launched, the campaign was advertised in the media with the words: “Read to your child for 20 minutes a day, every day”. Thanks to participating in this campaign we can experience the pleasure of reading!
