EU Day of Languages in OŠ Kolezija in Ljubljana
European Day of Languages was a very important day in the Slovenian primary school Kolezija. Pupils could join different workshops and got to know many world languages, which are not taught in our school: Dutch, Portuguese, Dannish, Chinese, Korean, Esperanto and sign language. European Day of Languages
26 September is celebrated as the European Day of Languages. In Gimnazjum nr 14 we have been organizing various events for a few years to celabrate this event. This year our students participated in a few competitions. One of the tasks was to recognize an English saying. Apart form that students were supposed to recognize the language of the songs which were played at the beginning of each lesson. The most joyful contest involved taking part in language games. It was great to see that students were really involved in the activities.
