"Reading week" in Sweden

This week have we Reading week in Guldkroken School in Hjo 7-9.
We read all Lessons besides Sport, Home Economics and Crafts.//Sofie

National Education Day in Poland

14 October is celebrated in Poland as National Education Day (commonly known as Teacher's Day). It is celebrated on the anniversary of establishing the Commission of National Education by king Stanisław August Poniatowski in 1773.

To celebrate this occasion members of our school Drama Club prepared a nice "Autumn concert".

This is us - the e-twinners from Slovenia ... well, at least most of us. We met very early - at 7.30 in the morning, so some were still sleeping at home : )

Autumn in Sweden

The weather is pretty cold in Sweden. The trees have autumn colors.

EU Day of Languages in OŠ Kolezija in Ljubljana

European Day of Languages was a very important day in the Slovenian primary school Kolezija. Pupils could join different workshops and got to know many world languages, which are not taught in our school: Dutch, Portuguese, Dannish, Chinese, Korean, Esperanto and sign language.

26 September is celebrated as the European Day of Languages. In Gimnazjum nr 14 we have been organizing various events for a few years to celabrate this event. This year our students participated in a few competitions. One of the tasks was to recognize an English saying. Apart form that students were supposed to recognize the language of the songs which were played at the beginning of each lesson. The most joyful contest involved taking part in language games. It was great to see that students were really involved in the activities.

Dear partners! I'm glad we can start our Bulgarian-Slovenian-Spanish-Swedish-Polish cooperation.
