Every year in February our school organizes an event called Days of Language Culture due to the fact that 21st February is an International Day of Mother Languages. This year we prepared two competitions: a Spelling Competition and Language, Art and History Quizzes. Students guessed the titles and authors of popular paintings, checked their knowledge of Polish history and had a lot of fun miming idioms:-) Last event was a show prepared to celebrate St. Valentine's Day - we could see a few love stories illustrated with popular love songs.
OH, it sounds very interesting. We have nothing like this in our school.

ReplyDeleteIt's something we started organizing a few years ago. It was quite a big event for 5 years when we organized this competition for all gimnazjum schools in our city. You could try to do sometnig like this - really recommend:-)
